Provision of Specialist Town Planning Services
Adamson Town Planning is a boutique firm based in Noosa which provides specialist town planning services across the State, to many local authorities, the development industry and community groups. Adamson Town Planning has been established since 2013.
The Director of the company Shane Adamson has considerable experience as a development assessment planner and provides specialised town planning advice. Shane has over 20 years’ experience working for local government, primarily in the area of development assessment from both an engineering and town planning perspective, and over 13 years’ experience working as a town planning consultant.
The services provided by Adamson Town Planning include:
- provision of specialised advice as an expert witness
- preparation, lodgement and project management of development applications
- undertaking local government consultancy contracts including management and mentoring
- assisting local government with peer review of complex and often controversial development applications
- assisting local government with development compliance and policy review work
- preparation of requests for a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation; and
- undertaking due diligence for the purchase of new properties.
Shane holds qualifications in civil engineering and town planning, is a corporate member of the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) and a member of the Queensland Environmental Law Association (QELA). Shane was also a General Referee for the Queensland Development Tribunal for many years.
